Interests of the Dark Queen

Drum, Mask, Shield and Rattle were the result of Workshops taken with Judith Thomson, who through her Inner Workings, has traveled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.

Judith works with special needs groups, as well as the Native Peoples. She teaches the sacred tradition of drum making, ceremony and song. She works with the Mer-Ka-Ba breath technique as well as Sacred Stances with the Rattle.

Judith is the most joyful person I know. Her humor is warm and slightly irreverent. She has fought and won the battle with cancer. Through her work with the drum, she helps teach autistic children, victims of violent crime, and others, to reconnect and to work through their feelings.

Judith has a giant heart and a brilliant soul and is truly a Grandmother in the most powerful sense.

Judith was recently implemental in the design and construction of a "Labyrinth", built at the Bethlehem Retreat on Westwood Lake in Nanaimo (Vancouver Island), British Columbia. The Labyrinth is open to the public and all are invited to make the journey to your centre.
